A recent graduate from the Savannah College of Art and Design with a BFA in Writing, Courtney is a risk-taker with a passion for words and a desire to better the lives of those around her. Raised in the heart of the South in Savannah, GA, Courtney dove head first into big city life the day after graduation and now calls Atlanta her home, where the blossoming entertainment industry fuels her work. Surrounded by artists and musicians and entrepreneurs from across the globe could seem daunting to most, but she relishes  in the chance to continue her learning experiences outside of the educational system, and uses every chance that she can to learn from the people around her. She takes professionalism seriously while also believing that every business flourishes when creative professionals are given the chance to take the reins.
Prior to graduation Courtney worked her first internship with Metaleater Magazine, a 15 website that began as a heavy metal review and news website and grew into a multimedia magazine that reviewed videogames, music of all genres and movies. Over the course of six years Courtney became the lead metal writer for the magazine, which led to other opportunities in the music industry. She became a content provider and southeast representative for SwitchBitch Records and the manager of a half million dollar a year live metal karaoke event called Metalsome in Atlanta. It was here that she started to take on roles outside of writing and honed business management skills that she had learned while being an operations team lead in Savannah's premiere tattoo parlor, The Butcher.
You could say she's a jack of all trades, but Courtney just finds herself fueled by staying busy--from building stages to setting up professional lighting to work as simple as file organizing and scheduling--the busier Courtney is the happier she stays. She does not want her name in lights, but wants to support those who do and firmly believes that the behind-the-scenes workers are just as important as the stars. 
Courtney is a passionate human being working to set her path in life, a competitive gamer, a comic fanatic and a Dungeons and Dragons expert--she loves people simply for being human, and wishes to spread that type of caring energy to everyone she meets.
